Name: Dana Drever

Title: Vice President of Operations

Dana has been a part of the Fuse family since 2020. Dana’s background has made her an asset to the operations team at Fuse. Her contributions play a key role in facilitating the smooth operation of day-to-day activities and ensuring that the organization’s mission is carried out effectively and efficiently. With her keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills, Dana efficiently manages various operational tasks. Her experience has equipped her with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved in a timely manner. 

Getting to Know Dana:

  1. Q: How do you like to spend your free time away from the wonderful world of direct response?
    A: I love spending time with my family. My husband, James, my kids Will, Jacob, Abby, and Jamie (all in high school!) and 2 dogs, Jack and Charlie. I also love coaching lacrosse, which I have been doing for over 23 years. Some of my other favorite activities are watching reality TV, playing golf, and working out.

  2. Q: What do you think is in store for our industry in the future?
    A:  Organizations will continuously explore new fundraising techniques, emerging technologies, and creative approaches to engage donors and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape.

  3. Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
    A:  Time Manipulation

  4. Q: What was your dream job as a child?
    A:  A sports agent or a teacher

  5. Q: Tell us about a time you failed.
    A: When I find myself believing I can handle everything and realize I've overextended, it's disheartening. However, these moments have taught me the importance of pausing, reassessing what's feasible, and extracting valuable lessons from setbacks. They serve as reminders to approach challenges with a balanced perspective and strive for improvement with each endeavor.
