Optimizing Sustainer Growth

Challenge

Disabled American Veterans (DAV) had a sustainer base that had mostly grown organically. Without new, intentional fundraising strategies, their monthly giving program growth would have likely remained organic but limited.

Strategy

Fuse conducted a comprehensive program review to identify areas of strength and opportunity in DAV's existing monthly giving program. Then, Fuse worked closely with the organization to strategically prioritize business process improvements, develop their annual value-based budget and launch comprehensive canvassing efforts.

We also collaborated with the organization’s other agency partners to develop cohesive messaging across each channel to ensure a consistent donor experience. The result was steady growth with reduced investment while ensuring excellent donor engagement.
