  • Mercy Corps is on the ground assessing the most urgent humanitarian needs in Ukraine and the region. The organization plans to provide emergency funds and assistance to families on the move while supporting local organizations as well.

  • World Food Program USA, supporting the United Nations World Food Programme, has launched an emergency operation to provide food assistance for those fleeing conflict in Ukraine and neighboring countries.

  • The International Rescue Committee provides health and education services to refugees and has been preparing for the influx of Ukrainian refugees to Poland. It is working with the government and local nonprofits to address the crisis and scale up its support as needed.

  • Doctors Without Borders staffers at border crossings are working to get staff and equipment into the areas most affected by the conflict and seeking ways to respond to the medical and humanitarian needs as the conflict evolves.

  • United Help Ukraine, based in Maryland, raises funds to provide food, medical supplies, and humanitarian aid to Ukrainian refugees. The organization also works to raise awareness about the Ukraine crisis.

  • The Global Fund for Women was founded by four women to fund bold and expansive gender justice movements. This organization is joining the international community in calling to #StopTheWar and recognizing the effect that crises like these has on women and marginalized peoples.

  • Voices of Children is a Ukraine-based charitable foundation that has been offering psychological and psychosocial support to children to help them overcome the consequences of armed conflict since 2015. The group is currently helping children and families across Ukraine, including helping with evacuations.

  • CARE is an international humanitarian group working to provide food, water, and other items to families fleeing violence in Ukraine.
